Khonigsberg Oeuvre

We went to the Prince Charles Cinema to watch "Midnight in Paris" which was written and directed by Allan Stewart Konigsberg.  Better known as Woody Allen.  Our task was to remake the film in under a minute.

My team were made up of Joan Gerard, Denis Bettio, Jacob Jelen, Sara Jenkins and Sam Pattison.

Meet Me On The Corner

This project was like a cultural treasure hunt where we had to visit 40 places in central London in one day.  I was glad to find some undiscovered places off the beaten track that I had never found before.  This was a another great way of integrating the group.  With the photographs and the drawing that I had taken during the trip I have produced an A2 size poster and a video which you can see here.

The project is based on Joseph Cornell whose field is assemblage, experimental film and sculpture.  He uses objects and memorabilia to build up his designs.  I have also been inspired by the work of Tom Mosely who works with Assemblage and geometric shapes.  

What is Graphic Design

Everything comes from an idea

My project is called “Everything comes from an Idea”.  I used the word idea and designed a font  Photoshop using the primary printing colours CMYK.  In inkjet colour printing, black is the key component and it serves to cover unwanted tints in dark areas of the printed image. 

I created an image and applied the CMYK colours to represent the main colours used in the Graphic Design printing process. In Graphic Design everything comes from CYMK and in my definition of Graphic Design everything comes from an Idea. 

My project represents what I believe to exist at the root of Graphic Design.  I have also created a representation of this design using photography as it is an important tool used in Graphic Design. 

Bussines Card

Introduction

For this project I wanted to create handbag to represent me as my business card.  I have also designed and made items to fit into the handbag.  The contents include a shoe that have a Phrase which mean something to me and reads “Life must be cherished with dreams and good will“ by my Father.  There is also a purse inside with a photo holder of some photos of the people which mean a lot to me.  And finally it has three small credit cards. Each card has an uplifting word written on .  Those words are Faith, Dream and Determination. 
I had use the colours Yellow, Blue and Red to praise Colombian flag.

Inspire by the intimate relashionship between photography and Cinema this includes Lithing, Set-Design, Location and Narrative.

Future

As you can see I really enjoy making inventions.  For instance in Year 1 with the projects I am Game and Too Sweet.  The ones that I got the most out of were The Perfect Crime, Joke Shop, Meet Me on the Corner and Konigsberg Oeuvre because they involved photography and movie making.

I definately see myself using photography and movie making for my final major project.  At the moment I am working on my storyboard for a short film that will potentially use stop motion effects.
